Chief Instructor Sensei Sean McHale

Chief Instructor Sensei Sean McHale

Sensei Sean has been involved in the world of the Martial Arts all his life. His first memory of a Christmas was a  present of a punching bag and pair of boxing gloves from his father who was an amateur boxer. This meant from a very young age he went around boxing clubs in Leeds with his father. At four years old he started training in Judo.

Then at seven he started training in Karate, as well as his Judo. Over many years Sean has accumulated more black belts than most tailors have! From there he has travelled around the world learning and teaching. Through his travels he has made some brilliant friends who happen to be some of the best Martial Artists in the world. He has also been on many National and International Martial Art Governing bodies, as well  as being the coach of the Scottish National Sports Ju-Jitsu team, wining them more medals then ever before.

His teaching style is to shout and ball like a Drill sergeant! However we have it on good authority that he isn’t mad. You wouldn’t want any body else in your corner if you needed help and he is always there for you 24/7.

The tragedy of life lies not in not reaching your goals, but in having no goals to reach
