True Martial Arts in the Community

Tai Jutsu Leeds is a group of not-for-profit making clubs formed by Sensei Sean McHale many years ago, targeting children and families including adults in low income areas of Leeds.

His clubs focus on where they can do the most good and with the help of many good friends, they teach not just about the Martial Arts, but about honour, nobility, doing the right thing and respect for themselves and others.

At Tai Jutsu Leeds a student is never turned away due to their financial situation. If  a student is unable to afford their fees, or a Gi / Martial Art suit, or is unable to pay their insurance, they are always welcome. The club can help with all these things discreetly so never to embarrass the student or their families.

This is only made possible due to the very many brilliant instructors, students and parents we have, who help year in and year out. Without their kind support, we would only be able to achieve a small fraction of the good we do in the local community.

Here at Tai Jutsu Leeds we have a highly successful competition team, which has won at many local and national competitions over the years. This shouldn’t be a surprise as Sensei Sean, our chief instructor was the coach and director to the Scottish National Sports Ju Jitsu Team, wining them more medals than ever before.

This helps all of our students to realise what they can achieve with a great deal of commitment and help. Anything is possible for them.

Also at Tai Jutsu Leeds we go around  schools in Leeds teaching at their heath and well being days,  putting across the message of anti drugs and drink, even though the kids know more about drugs than we do!
