Coach Aquila Powell
Like his father Norman, Aquila has been training with us for many years now. Both Aquila and Norman have reached their So Dan Ho / Black Belt in Tai Jutsu and their So Dan 1st in Ju Jitsu in 2015. Aquila has now gained his So Dan 1st Dan in Tai Jutsu and his Ni Dan 2nd Dan in Ju-Jitsu after a two day grading in the summer of 2019.
Aquila is also now working on his coaching skills. His teaching style is loud and full of fire. Since his black belt grading in 2015 he has developed so much as a martial artist. As well as a great person he is someone we are very proud of and he will have a brilliant future as a Martial Artist.
Martial arts are not about picking your fights and picking how things go; it’s about adapting to how things are.
